Embracing That Which Can Not Be Stopped!

Autumn!

I have a real love for Autumn.  I am so thankful that God has given us the seasons here in the North East, they are new beginnings, new hope, new dreams; four times a year!   How GRACIOUS He is to do this for us.

Warm sweaters, boots, greens and browns, (my favorite color combination at the moment), the smell of the clean earth, connection to nature.  These are just a few of my favorite things.

Figs, fresh tomatoes, a street covered in leaves, the city hustle and bustle, coffee, cinnamon!  A few more of my favorite things.

Funny, how so many people see the summer as a slow down time, yet, for me it is Autumn.  This is when I take stock in my life, where is it going?  Am I on track with God?  What spiritual habits have I let slip in the hectic life of summer.   What new ones do I need to work on?   All questions that I ask as I slow down and take in the beauty that is Autumn!
