My Day Book

Outside my window:  The sun is streaming and the promise of a glorious day is beginning.

I am thinking:  I wish the ups man would get here, I am waiting for my new notebook software.  I had downloaded a free trial, and now I am unable to access it until the software key gets here.  I have all my garden ideas for this year on it.  UGH, should of copied it all down before the trial expired.  You live you learn.  :0)

I am thankful: for this day off.

I am praying for: a heart for the kingdom.

I am remembering:  that life is short, to make each day count!

I am going:  to the fabric store.

I am currently reading:   My bible, Philippians

I am hearing: the gentle hum of the refrigerator and a few  cars as they pass by.  Earlier the birds were singing in splendor, but that has faded away, as is this morning.

Noticing that:  I really don't like living on the back end of a time zone,  In both time zones I have lived in before I was at the beginning of the time zone,  now I am at the west end and it doesn't suit my body rhythms as well.  I am a morning person and it is still dark here at 7:00 am. Who knew? Yikes, I don't like it.

Pondering these words:  Still pondering bountiful, I know it's been a while, but then that is the way words are with me.

From the kitchen:  Ribs and sweet potatoes. Trying to use up the last of the sweet potatoes.

Around the house: taxes, gardening, and cleaning

One of my favorite things:  Sitting outside early in the morning watching birds on a lake, with a steaming cup of tea.

A few plans for the rest of the week:  working the weekend so no big plans.
