I have been looking through a Time to Keep by Tasha Tudor and thinking about how much I have enjoyed her books and her way of life through out the years. Having lived on the east coast for so many years, being a book lover and a homeschooler for many of those years I took for granted that everyone had heard of Tasha and her work. As of late I have come to realize that many have not. So I felt a few pictures of her may be in order.
Tasha was a well know illustrated of children's books as well as a woman who lived off the land in Vermont. She lived a simple life filled with natural beauty. All though I didn't agree with her spiritual take on life, her simplicity of life always intrigued me, inspired me and impressed me.
And thanks to one of my sister's, my daughter Emily has an autographed copy of a book that Tasha illustrated many years ago.

Oh, Laurie...your new design is so pretty!! And I love the pictures of your house! You're amazing!!
Sorry I haven't had a chance to get to last week's Bible study...was at a convention all weekend! I hope to get to it tomorrow though.
We'll chat soon!!
Well how's this for a day late and a dollar short? lol. Just wanted to say thanks for the complement on the blog, I have already changed it again. Believe it or not (as Jim would say) my furniture is still in the same spot as the day I moved in. So, now I have the blog to rearrange, definitely lighter on the back.
Anyway just a shout out to say hi and thanks for looking. Hope your summer is going well. ~ Laurie
