The One That Got Away

Ok, so Beth and I  were out moseying along, when we see a garage sale.  I see the chair, but think oh we will go to the end of the street, turn around and we will be back.  Mission accomplished, we turn around, drive back to the garage sale, park and head for the drive way, as we are making our way I see a SUV backing into the driveway.  I just know the chair has been bought!  Yup they open the back up and in goes this wonderful white, on white textured upholstered chair.  The kind that the back curves to encircle you and give you great rest.

Oh, what a shame I miss it by a mere 2 or 3 minutes.   I look around real quick spot a red tin, and since I have thing for vintage tins and red to boot, I buy it for 2.00.

Not bad, but not a white on white wrap around chair.  

Beth and I head out and to add insult to injury  I look up  and right in front of me is my chair sitting as pretty as can be in the back of the SUV in front of me, taunting me, I reach for my camera but by the time I get it out the SUV has pulled a head so although you don't get to see the chair you do get to see the back of the SUV as it passes out of my life for ever.

I will keep looking, I have a thing for chairs you know.
