So Mahogany......

Is the new plum!!!?? Who knew?   I had planned on doing a reverse frost, (for the younger generation dark highlights).

Any way I thought it would be very simple.  First off I had stressed so much to my daughter thin strips not fat ones, that when we were done nothing had changed in my hair.  No problem I had a few days off I would do it myself.

BIG PROBLEMO!

Mahogany sound so dark and brown.  WOW was I wrong.  PLUM!
This is the kit I used, how does one get plum out of it?
YIKES and double YIKES.   Ok, there has to be a solution, lets put some golden light brown on it.

YIKES and TRIPLE YIKES,

out comes strawberry blonde, mean while my highlights are getting bigger and bigger.
Ok so whats a girl to do?

Yes, color it one more time this time with warm brown, how can you go wrong with warm brown?  Well you can and it did.  But as my mom says don't put anything else on it it may fall off.   Might be better.

Anyway I feel somewhere between a teen and a redneck, not sure which is better.

Hoping for a fast growing head of hair.

Oh No, Laurie!! I'm sure it sounds worse than what it looks like! Right?? I'm sure it will fade quickly...I've had disastrous haircuts (you have to be very careful with my head of curls) so I feel your pain. I wish I had advice for you but I don't. Do you have a nice collection of hats?? :)

Thanks for the condolences, lol, I'm planning on using lots of dawn dish detergent, I hear it helps, and I think I will pull it back. although with my new hair cut, which also is a problem, I don't have much hair to pull back. I guess I should of listen to my gut, "don't die your hair" Hope you are having a great summer. ~ Laurie
