Don't really have much time today, who does? I've been wanting to do a full before and after of the whole house, but for today I'll just show the kitchen, which I have posted some after pictures already, but not the before.....

All the pretty touches make it so cozy and chic.
We have a similar layout with the kitchen sink and cabinets above it. I think we should tear the 3 cabinets out. And now that I've seen that you did it, I think we could do it too!!

Sabrina, thanks for the words of encouragement. I do so love a kitchen with out upper cabinets. Cabinets seem so stuffy to me, I love the openness of shelves and flat walls. Different I know, but then aren't we all?
And yes, I do think you can do it, just be prepared for anything to be behind those cabinets, thankful that Jim is a great dry waller and mudder, who ever put up the cabinets decided to just cover up these very big holes rather than fix them. Something we did not know until I pulled the cabinets down.

I, too, LOVE removing upper cabinets and using shelves. My kitchen didn't allow me to do that, so I went for drama with the red lowers. :)
Now, I am wanting to use a curtain instead of doors, like you have done here. Do you like it?? I have been wanting to do that for awhile..now you have inspired me. :)
