Planting Time!!!!

Yes, it is finally here.... planting time that is.   Here in the North East, Memorial Day is just not the day we honor our Men and Women  who have servered our country in the Armed Forces, but also, the day we plant.

I have just a few plants left to put in the ground, but there also is a picnic to prepare for. So, for now these few left overs will have to wait.  Below are pictures of what has been done thus far......

Jim was so wonderful and made me new window boxes!!! I am so happy! The little stone bench comes from our old church The Sanctuary.  I will always look at it and remember those sweet, sweet days spent with my sisters and brothers of The Sanctuary.

 Here is a picture of the new perennial bed that I just put in.  Hope it won't take to long to fill out.  No hollyhocks this year, but next year........
