Independence Day

As many bloggers will no doubt be writing from grateful hearts today about all that we have to be thankful for in America, I will join the chorus and add my voice.  I am so thankful for this country of ours and the independence we have because many gave their lives for this liberty.
I am also thankful that the older I get the more I understand that God's world is soooo much larger than America. So, while I will be one of the first to sing God Bless America I am also keenly aware that with that blessing comes responsibility to the world at large.   May we rise up to the challenges ahead of us as we ask God for His Blessing and may we help usher in the KINGDOM, the true KINGDOM of God.
