Words can change a life......

As is customary at the beginning of a new year one makes changes and  looks for avenues that will bring about the change that is desired.  A new trend is happening though, whereby people instead of making resolutions are coming up with one word or a phrase that can hold up as a motivator to bring about change.  Such as simplicity, believe, treasure, family, contentment, etc.  I have seen this on various boards that I frequent and have even attempted to choose a word that if I paid attention to it would just possibly change the course of my year.  And, there you have it!  The one little phrase that will make a one word resolution work.... "pay attention to it".  
So, this year not only am I picking out one word, I pledge to try and actually think about the word through out the year as well as study and research the word.   What is the word you might ask yourself, well, it's not really a word that brings an air of excitement and wonder, or the promise of adventure like say the word lavish, or curiosity, or action, but it never the less is the word that I believe God would have me study.

2012 is the year of HONOR!   I'll keep you all abreast of how it goes through out the year.
