Patterns of Life

I love this pattern, at the time it was produced (1940's) it was just an ordinary everyday dish one of hundreds produce by Paden City Pottery, but to me it represents a wonderful lady, who for years worked very hard to supply her family with the necessities of life; My Grams! I actually don't remember her using these, she used them before my time I'm sure, but there they were peeking out of a box that would soon find it's way to the Salvation Army.  My Grams had passed on and her children were going through her things.  Oh there were many items people claimed in remembrance of her but much was being discarded. So when my eyes happen upon these I knew that I wanted them. Unfortunately there weren't many pieces left. That was the beginning of my search, which  has been going  on for many years.
I've looked in all the usual places. I am even registered on line at Replacement. com; they will  email me  if they find it, but nothing yet. So, here I am publishing this in blog land with it's endless possibilities hoping someone will see this and steer me in the right direction.   Happy Hunting All.
