FOR TODAY
Outside my window... Melting Snow! How wonderful, as one who does not like the winter I am happy to see the returning of my driveway.
I am thinking... How much there is to do.
I am thankful for... living in America, I love this country and love my freedom.
From the kitchen... 2 pans are soaking, all else neat and tidy until this afternoon when I begin supper. Supper tonight will be stirfry.
I am wearing...stretch pants and a turtleneck
I am creating...a garden notebook, crochet mary jane baby shoes, and scripture cards.
I am going... to try and enjoy this day off and do more than chores. I am hoping to find time to pray, read and create as well as though dastardly chores.
I am reading...Imitation of Christ, Love and Respect
I am hoping...to only be out of the house for a few minutes today, I have to pick up bird seed for my feathery friends.
I am hearing...silence.... sometimes that is what I need. To quite my heart and mind.
Around the house.... as the house is already tidy, it is mine to enjoy on this day.
One of my favorite things for today is...a fire, a cup of tea and good garden or home decor magazine.

I'm ready for the end of winter, too but they are predicting some snow for tomorrow.

I, too, am looking forward to spring. A friend said she heard geese last week so maybe it is on it's way. I'll bet your crocheted shoes are adorable. I am trying to find yard to crochet the simple dishcloths that I love. I've never made them before so I am looking forward to learning. I enjoyed reading your post and about your daily life. Enjoy your birds!
How is the book Love and Respect? I was just looking at that at the book store and thinking of getting it.
