My Day Book

Outside my window... The sun is shinning with the hope of reaching 50 degrees today! I am excited.

I am thinking...that more time should be devoted to the meditation of the Cross of Christ.

I am thankful for.... a day off with sunshine that I may enjoy my gardens .

I am wearing...my day off uniform, sweats and sweat shirt.

I am remembering... That God's love is long suffering and he is GRACIOUS, as well as HOLY.

I am going... out to the yard and putz around, even if there still is snow, I can dream, plan and soak in the beauty of God's creation.

I am currently reading... The bible and The Imitation of Christ

I am hearing....the dishwasher, the fan on the wood stove and music from my playlist.

Noticing that...  my windows need cleaning.

Pondering these words... still pondering bountiful vs, sparingly.

From the kitchen...  whole roasted chicken and sweet potatoes

Around the house....Straightening up from a wonderful weekend with my daughter and father in law.

One of my favorite things.....Hearing that my children are content and happy.

I'm creating... the design for my new garden in the side yard

A few plans for the rest of the week..... check out garden shops, laundry, and as always work.

A picture to share...  My Hollyhocks, as they look right now.  The hope of great things to come!

I love working in the yard. It's supposed to be warm here today. About 70. The jonquils are blooming. I love what you are cooking. I hope you have a great week. Doylene
