The Doors of Ireland:
I have always been intrigued by doors. One opens a door and a whole new world opens up before you. Or better yet one opens a door and a very familiar, safe, restful world opens up before you and envelops you. Doors are the gate way into havens of rest for each one us. Our havens may all look and feel different, but havens none the less.
Ireland has always intrigued me, I am mostly of Irish heritage, so I totally understand this intrigue, so when you put the two together, you get: Irish Doors! I guess I am not the only one who finds them interesting as finding images of doors in Ireland is pretty easy and plentiful, others must have this same love. So with out further ado, Doors of Ireland:

I see these doors and I automatically think what is behind them, what gems of life yet to be discover lay there? What beauty is there that I have yet to see? What traditions lay beyond those doors? So much to be curious about!
Notice the wonderful colors, I always wonder where my love of color came from, now I know my Irish heritage.

And they really do have all colors, shapes and sizes. It is common to get postcard in the South of Ireland of their doors. Happy Saint Patrick's Day.
Top of the day to you my dear! Hey Marie, thanks for the lovely comments on face book about my blog. I have been enjoying yours as well. The picture of the fox did you take that, or is it a stock picture? It's wonderful either way. I'm not real sure how these comments work, wether you will get notification of this or if I should go to your site, anyway, I have more for the up coming St. Pat's day, so check back if you get the chance. Love you. ~ Laurie
