I love gardening, (not weeding mind you, as my husband can attest to) but oh I love the look of a garden full of color, life, beauty and fragrance. It brings to mind how much God longs for our lives to be the same: full of color, life, beauty and fragrance but in order to do this one must pull the weeds, wether we want to or not. Oh for a heart willing to sacrifice and work at weed pulling. Thanks be to God, that he is able to give us this heart!

Gardening
I love my gardens, I love looking at pictures of my gardens they bring to mind not only the joy of my hands in the warm soil and my skin exposed to the wonderful God given sun, but of my life as I have lived it. When I see pictures of my past gardens I think about the time, effort and love my husband has put into starting each and every seedling, watering and nurturing so I can have a spectacular garden. I see my children growing up, chubby little hands handing me bouquets of wild flowers and stones; because I love stones as well. I see my children growing their own plants, my daughter starting a dried flower business at the age of 6, after starting her own garden at the age of 4. I see both my son and daughter growing giant pumpkins and taking home awards from small and large fairs. I see my son growing in maturity from no longer needing to be paid to cut the grass to doing it out of sense of being part of the family. My daughter willing to weed knee high weeds on the side of the house that is home to snakes which she is not found of. I have been blessed to have many different gardens and in each and every one God has ministered to my soul and fitted me more for the kingdom.
